Originally from Algeria, Paso Doble currently resides in exotic Montreal. His sound is obviously influenced by his African origins but also tainted by the North American Club culture, which he has always embraced.

His sound has captured the world with unexpected precision and ease since 2011 when his sound and name became synonymous with Afro House embraced by soulful vocals with such instant hits as Majestic ft. Zano, Get me Over ft. Miranda Nicole, Kanti ft. Toshi.

In 2012 Paso Doble was unleashed into the world of DJing as he embarked on his first major tour from Greece to Europe to New York. As his fan base developed, he continued to release his signature sound on such labels as Cabana Records, NULU Records, Soul Sun Soul Music, Ocha Records, Quantize Recordings, Open Bar Music, MoBlack and his own brand, Melomania Records.

With a network that spans from one end of the globe to the other, Paso Doble’s influence on the dance floor is felt and heard. As he expands his business model, brand and passion to include the collaborative production partnership of Trinity with Jacob Santo (Santorini, Greece) and a variety of production services through his Melomania brand.

Paso Doble mixed at numerous prestigious events all around the globle. His DJ career is currently blooming as witnessed by his numerous gigs in the most notorious night clubs in the World such as: Sullivan Room (New York), Bunda (Toronto), Soubois (Montreal), L’envers (Marrakech), Nhau (Montreal), Le Comptoir (Casablanca), Vanity (Casablanca), Réservoir (Rabat), The Key (Paris), Coropuna (Rome), PY1 (Montreal), Salon Daome (Montreal), Kool (Luanda), Cayenne (Kampala), Mashariki (Nairobi), Tearoom (Lagos), Moist (Lagos), L’Ambassade (Lyon), Paradise Club (New York), etc...

Paso’s talent was also showcased in front of thousands of festival-goers at major outdoor events such as RISE Open Air Festival in Berlin.

His latest album Africa Knows Who I Am is graced with authentic musical works that not only reflect the chronicles of the African people but also produces them in the creation and construction of experiences of identity in cultural space.
